Stylish is the word coming to mind when rating Ruby Marie Hotel. Located at the main train station and the shopping mile Mariahilferstr. it is easy to reach. While the main entrance is easy to miss, it’s worth a closer look.
A dark theme seems to be the proper description, but in a good way. In the lobby and bar area wood dominates, giving it almost a rustic flair. It maybe sounds odd to self check-in with an iPad, but keep in mind you won’t need a human to checkout too. Just go.
The hallways are hardly lid with black walls and colorful carpets. Rooms are quite the contrast. White dominates the open space. A walk-in shower with walls out of glass supports it. One must love the little things, staff left for decoration, such as an old Marshall amplifier or a shiny silver lamp.
Breakfast is organic.
A former department store turned into a hotel - the Stafa building is home to Ruby Marie, in the middle of the 7th district, the heart of Vienna's creative scene. The interior and design of the hotel reflects the history of the building.
